KKC have teamed up with Hull City Council Sports Development as part of their Sports Unlimited Programme this year to offer youngsters the chance to try kayaking. We are running a 10 week course for up to 12 young people between 11 and 16 years old on Thursday evenings from 7pm until 9pm starting on the KKC are running a Come and Try It session on the day of the Lord Mayor’s parade, which is SATURDAY 15 MAY. The session will be between 10.30 – 4.00 at Princes Quay. Quite a few coaches have offered to help, but if there is anyone else out there that is willing to help out, The Humber Sports Partnership would like to invite you to attend a sport volunteer development evening. The evening has been designed to offer advice and training for volunteers who are involved with local sport clubs and development groups. Each workshop shall be delivered by industry professionals who specialise in that particular area.
