Kingston Ladies Finish 9th at European Canoe Polo Club Championships

Kingston Kayak Club’s Ladies team have achieved a fantastic 9th-place finish at the 2026 Paddle Europe Canoe Polo Club Championships, held in Milan, Italy, from 2–4 October.

Competing against some of Europe’s leading women’s canoe polo clubs, Kingston Ladies travelled to Milan’s Idroscalo for three days of intense international competition.

The championships brought together 15 women’s teams from across Europe, with 60 matches played during the tournament.

Five Players, One Incredible Team Effort

What makes Kingston’s achievement particularly impressive is that the team competed with a squad of just five players.

With no substitutes available, every player had to give their all throughout the competition, without the opportunity to rotate or take a breather during matches.

Despite the physical demands, Kingston Ladies demonstrated fantastic determination, resilience and teamwork to secure 9th place overall.

Representing Kingston on the European Stage

Finishing among Europe’s top ten women’s club teams is a brilliant achievement and a reflection of the commitment and hard work of everyone involved.

The whole of Kingston Kayak Club can be incredibly proud of the team and how they represented the club on the international stage.

A massive congratulations to all five players on a fantastic performance!

9th in Europe. Five players. One enormous effort.
