As you may of heard of kkc travelled to Liverpool on the 13rd and 14th of June to compete in the Merseyside international. The toughest challenge was for the C team who were to play the first tournament as a team.
The weekend started well with a 9-0 thrashing over F.O.A Yth C with goals from: Alex Lowthorpe, Alex Jones, Claire Medina and Nicky Rudkin. Over the next games the scores didn’t go our way but the determined defence and some fantastic one on one saves by Gareth Jones kept the scores low. It came to the first game in the cross overs were we beat F.O.A Yth b 7-0 but we were unable to keep are goal scoring record and suffered a 4-3 defeat to Meridian D were we fought a late come back but too late it was.
The whole team enjoyed the weekend and are looking forward to playing their next tournament even better than this one.
