We are to host a CPD module / workshop in Hull @ KKC on the evening of 10th Feb 2010. (6.30pm to 10.00pm)
The event was planned for a location in Leeds, but only one person was down for it, so we could move the event to Humberside.
The workshop is aimed at those who will be Mentoring the new UKCC level 1&2 Coaches.
Mentoring for Paddlesport Coaches
The module intends to equip coaches with a definition of modern mentoring. Identifying its principles, elements of best practice and the vocabulary which current mentor education embraces.
The module is to be delivered by Gareth Field PDO for Canoe England.
Basically, it is to help old style coaches understand the new style processes and language of the new UKCC coaches and aid those new coaches along the coaching pathway.
Cost will be £10.00, this includes the £ 5.00 BCU certification.
