The club needs more qualified Polo referees in order to understand the rules, referee games and be able to attend National and local level polo tournaments with qualified referees on the website!
We have arranged a Polo Theory test (Grade 3) to be held at the clubhouse on Sunday 7th February 2016, 10am start. You have to be 16 years old to take this theory exam, however if under that age, you are more than welcome to sit in and learn!
Andy Lowthorpe will be administering the course, along with the help of Alan Neal and myself!
The cost will be £15.00 each, after passing the theory Andy Lowthorpe will mark the practical elements at the club (Monday night sessions) when he is available!
At this moment in time the club have a small handful of referees so we certainly need more!
I would appreciate if all polo paddlers and other interested participants could attend this and begin to create more qualified referees!
