Here are the current slalom ranking and results to date. Of particular note is the close battle between James Sewart (ranked 17th)and Alex Jones (ranked 16th) for promotion to Div 2.
Congratulations to Jordan Allan on a great paddle at Oughtibridge last weekend coming 2nd overall and gaining promotion to Division 3!
Apologies if I have missed anything of these lists as I have to trawl the results to find the information so its easy to get it wrong.
It would be great to see some more of you out racing and as many of you as possible racing for KKC at Wagon Lane, get in touch if you need anything. If you’d like to start slalom the next dates for beginners are:-
Monday 2nd May 6-7pm on the outdoor pool
Thursday 5th May 6-7pm on the outdoor pool
May 7th/8th Wagon Lane – Weekend slalom camp and race!
From May until further notice slalom training for improvers will be on Thursday nights. Start at 7pm sharp, please don’t be late on the water if you can help it. I’ll usually be there between 6.30 to 6.45 to setup unless running a beginners session when I will be there between around 5.30, help is always appreciated.
